Work for the Dole

South Burnett CTC Inc has been a contracted Community Work Coordinator since the year 2000. Over this time we have facilitated Work for the Dole projects and Community Work Placements to assist eligible participants in gaining work experience and address skills requirement while at the same time assist community organisations meet their needs.

Work for the Dole projects are 6 months in duration with a variety of activities including hospitality, retail, grounds maintenance, construction, nursery work, administration and Internet Technology, just to name a few. We have projects from Rainbow Beach , Tin Can Bay, Gympie and surrounding areas, Kilkivan, Murgon, Kingaroy, Nanango, Yarraman and Blackbutt.

We pride ourselves on working within the guidelines of the Government's Code of Practice and Service Guarantee and have delivered an individualised service to sponsors, host and participants.

We are currently an active member of the CWC working partys representing Southern Qld / NSW Northern Rivers CWC, this demonstrates our commitment to better service delivery in regional areas.
